TradeNet is pleased to receive a 2016 A+ SAGE Rating Award for providing excellent service and products. The rating continues an ongoing string of SAGE A+ designations for TradeNet.

SAGE A and A+ ratings are awarded each year to top industry suppliers based on a distributor rating system from SAGE, a primary product research system in the promotional products industry. Distributors rate suppliers on a variety of criteria and decide which suppliers to use.

As part of the business relationship between SAGE and PPAI, the SAGE rating makes TradeNet eligible for the industry’s annual PPAI Supplier Star Awards Competition.

TradeNet is accustomed to having an A+ SAGE rating, but it’s still great to be able to hold it up when the report card comes out.

Tom Mertz isn’t one to dwell on the past, but the founder, President and CEO of TradeNet Publishing, Inc., can recall a time when he was calling on businesses to sell magnetic dry erase memo boards and then cranking them out on the kitchen table of an Iowa farmhouse. The year was 1986.

From that rather innocuous beginning, TradeNet Publishing rapidly became a major national supplier of erasable boards and refrigerator magnets. We are new based in Gardner, Kansas, on the outskirts of Kansas City. We have 130 employees, each who plays a critical role in TradeNet’s ongoing success in offering an extensive line of Your Message Your Way® printed promotional products.

TradeNet has revised its logo for 2016 to recognize 30 years of helping bring success to the distributors of the promotional products industry. We’re looking forward to more decades of helping deliver “Your Message Your Way.”

SAAC Show 2015TradeNet is again headed to Long Beach for the Specialty Advertising Association of California’s annual trade show.  The SAAC Show takes place August 5-6 at the Long Beach Convention Center. TradeNet is one of the few designated Diamond-level sponsors of the SAAC Show. You’ll be seeing the TradeNet logo on show materials and TradeNet team members at various events.

Make a point to attend one of the two educational sessions — Selling Direct Mail as a Promotional Product — as facilitated by Scott Perry, TradeNet Director of Sales. Let’s make this easy, shall we? Keeping tabs on order status is simple as visiting TradeNet’s website.

Distributors can now search for order status on our website (even if not logged into a DistributorCentral account). The “Order Status” tool is at the top of the menu bar at http://www.TradeNetOnline.com.

Thank goodness for simplicity. Distributors who click on the Order Status option will then enter either their DistributorCentral order number or purchase order number and the ZIP Code associated with the billing address on their account. This combination is required in order to receive tracking information.

Voila! The distributor will see the status of the order in the production process. If the job has shipped, the results will appear with a shipped date and a tracking link.Clicking the tracking link allows tracking each package in the order.

The Excellence Awards are the industry’s objective standard for supplier achievement, naming winners in 40 categories in a wide range of promotional products. A panel of representatives from distributor companies across the country went through thousands of qualified suppliers to narrow down the best of the best in each category. The number of finalists per category was limited to eight.

Voting is by promotional products distributors only and will  close on the 24th of June. Gold, silver and Bronze winners will be published in the July issue of Promo Marketing.

July 14 will be here sooner than you think. That’s the start of this year’s ASI Show at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. TradeNet will be an exhibitor when the show floor opens on Wednesday and Thursday, July 15-16. Be sure to make Booth 1616 a scheduled stop. We’ll have lots of sample Your Message Your Way® products and marketing materials for you to put to good use.

We also notice NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is the ASI Chicago keynote speaker on the morning of July 16. Perhaps TradeNet should make sure to have a supply of Denver Bronco magnetic schedules in the booth!
