The 2015 ASI Show Orlando opened today (1/5) at the Orange County Convention Center. TradeNet is once again an exhibitor at this kick-off show. Our 30-foot booth is filled with samples and marketing materials. Scott Perry, Director of Pre-Production Services, and Michelle Beaver, Customer Service Representative, are on hand to greet and meet and answer questions. The booth is equipped with large monitors so Scott and Michelle can demonstrate TradeNet’s time- and money-saving online design tool.

We hope Orlando SHOW attendees take time to visit the TradeNet booth. You’ll be warmly welcomed and are assured of coming away with great selling ideas for 2015.

ASI Show Orlando – January 4-6

While some of you will still be recovering from New Year’s celebrations, we’ll be packing up and headed for Orlando for the ASI SHOW! in Orlando. TradeNet will be represented at the Orlando Show by Scott Perry, Michelle Beaver,  Mike Rubin and Steve Hale.

TradeNet Booth 2032  is in an excellent location near the center of the Orange County Convention Center show floor. We’ll have two large video monitors to demonstrate TradeNet’s web-to-print capabilities and online design functionality. Be sure to tour the Product Showcase displays and see our Slinky® Adhesive Pads in action. Literally!


PPAI EXPO – Las Vegas, January 11-15

Next stop: Las Vegas! The PPAI EXPO is always a great opportunity to meet current and future customers, not to mention having an all-around good time. TradeNet’s entourage will be large. Representing TradeNet at the Expo will be Scott Perry, Debbie Evans, Vickie Greener, Nowell Wisch, Mike Rubin, Mike Oliver and Steve Hale.

Scott Perry, Director of Pre-Production Services, will be presenting an educational workshop at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 11, on How to Sell Direct Mail as a Promotional Product. (We’ve seen the previews and give this presentation an unbiased Five-Star rating.) The session defines direct mail and reveals how to sell direct mail as an extension of promotional products, as well as how to overcome the fear of selling mail services and mail products. You can convince your existing customer base that, as a promotional products professional, you are qualified to help them with their direct mail needs. This session will also share the basics of direct mail and available mailing options, as well as available USPS products that fit the promotional products mold. (CAS: 1 point)

There’s a “Diamond” at the SAAC Show taking place this week (Aug. 6-7) at the Long Beach Convention Center. TradeNet stepped up to assume the lead sponsorship role at SAAC (Specialty Advertising Association of California) . The easily recognizable TradeNet logo is featured on Show signage, in the show Guide and elsewhere.

Kicking off the SAAC Show on opening day was TradeNet President Tom Mertz being one of the featured panelists for a “State of the Promotional Products Industry” discussion.   As expected Tom represented TradeNet well and shared his insight into what he felt has made TradeNet successful and sustaining in the industry.  Tom was attributed a significant portion of TradeNet’s success to the hiring of great employees over the years. It’s those employees to product TradeNet’s quality line of printed promotional materials.

The team handling the TradeNet booth at SAAC — Scott Perry, Michelle Beaver and Nowell Wisch — happily reports lots of traffic in their neighborhood. Much interest is being expressed in TradeNet’s Web-to-Print capabilities, its “new” Mail Services capabilities and overall product offerings.

A “State of the Industry” panel discussion will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, to kick off the first day of the 2014 SAAC Show in Long Beach.
