If there’s any single product missing from TradeNet’s extensive line-up of printed promotional products, a case could be made it was a presentation folder. Place emphasis on the word “was.” As of now, a folder has been added to the mix.

There’s a “Diamond” at the SAAC Show taking place this week (Aug. 6-7) at the Long Beach Convention Center. TradeNet stepped up to assume the lead sponsorship role at SAAC (Specialty Advertising Association of California) . The easily recognizable TradeNet logo is featured on Show signage, in the show Guide and elsewhere.

Kicking off the SAAC Show on opening day was TradeNet President Tom Mertz being one of the featured panelists for a “State of the Promotional Products Industry” discussion.   As expected Tom represented TradeNet well and shared his insight into what he felt has made TradeNet successful and sustaining in the industry.  Tom was attributed a significant portion of TradeNet’s success to the hiring of great employees over the years. It’s those employees to product TradeNet’s quality line of printed promotional materials.

The team handling the TradeNet booth at SAAC — Scott Perry, Michelle Beaver and Nowell Wisch — happily reports lots of traffic in their neighborhood. Much interest is being expressed in TradeNet’s Web-to-Print capabilities, its “new” Mail Services capabilities and overall product offerings.

Attendees at the upcoming Specialty Advertising Association of California Show have an opportunity to gain insight into the promotional products industry from a panel of professional who know what they’re talking about. A “State of the Industry” panel discussion will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, to kick off the first day of the 2014 SAAC Show in Long Beach.

TradeNet is headed to the Boardwalk

TradeNet will be an exhibitor at the 2014 Expo East show in Atlantic as hosted by the PPAI on May 19-21. This is one of the biggest shows on the east coast and TradeNet will the in the thick of the action.

We sure hope you can stop by Booth 715 as TradeNet is eager to demonstrate its new Web-to-Print Company Store. The booth will be equipped with a large monitor to show how the store functions and to get feedback from attendees. TradeNet Memo Boards (click the Expo  logo above) will be our “show special” and we’ll be featuring Slinky® Adhesive Notepads in the Expo’s product pavilion.

Scott Perry, Steve Hale and Mike Rubin will be manning the TradeNet’s Expo East booth most the time, but will be expecting help from other TradeNet team members making the trip to Atlantic City. That includes Joe Torrago, Brent Mertz and Chris Schlemmer. Joe and Chris will be taking part in PPAI technology show that corresponds with the Expo.

Next stop: Dallas! (And an encounter with George W!)

First stop in 2014 was Orlando. Then Vegas. Now TradeNet is excited to be taking its travel exhibit and product sample display to Dallas for the upcoming ASI Show in the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.

We hope you’ll include Booth 325 on your list of sure-to-visit stops at the Dallas ASI Show. TradeNet has an awesome (no kidding) show special, plenty of catalogs and a wide variety of product samples. It will be worth your time.

Representing TradeNet at the Dallas ASI Show will be Steve Hale and Ed Rodriguez. Ed’s quite the star these days. He was First Runner-Up as Supplier Sales Rep of the Year in the November/December 2013 issue of SGR Magazine.

We do trust Ed’s presence won’t upstage another celebrity attending the Dallas ASI Show. Former President George W. Bush will be speaking at the show’s general session on the morning of February 6. No doubt President Bush will want to have the pleasure of introducing himself to Ed!
